DEYMED Workshop Showcases rTMS Implementation in Czech Psychiatry

The DEYMED workshop took place as part of the 68th Czech & Slovak Psychopharmacological Conference and provided an important platform for professionals to explore current approaches to psychiatric treatment. The workshop, titled Implementation of rTMS in Czech Psychiatry: Evaluation of Compliance with Recommended Guidelines, focused on the practical implementation of repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS) in Czech psychiatric practice.

During the workshop, the DEYMED XTR TMS device was used to demonstrate a range of rTMS treatment applications in clinical practice. The program addressed recommended clinical guidelines and strategies for optimising rTMS therapy across psychiatric indications, with a focus on improving patient outcomes.

The session was led by Assoc. Prof. Monika Klírová, M.D., Ph.D., together with her team from the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH). They presented current research findings, evidence-based treatment protocols, and practical insights into the clinical use of rTMS, offering participants valuable hands-on and theoretical knowledge.
